What we collect
When you send the enquiry form we receive what you type into it: your name and phone number, and, if you give them, your email address, the areas you are moving from and to, your moving date, the service you are interested in and your message. The email we receive also records the date, the page the form was sent from and the IP address of the device that sent it, which helps us deal with spam.
If you phone or email us, we keep the details you give us for the same purpose.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote and, if you book, to carry out your move. Our lawful basis is that this is needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them.
Who sees it
Form enquiries are sent by email to us. A copy is also sent to the company that built and maintains this website, so that it can check enquiries are being delivered. Our website and email hosting providers process the messages on our behalf. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not lead to a booking, we delete it within twelve months. If you book a move, we keep the records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, which is normally six years.
